The REACH & BALAC grant are working together to create a smoke free environment for all Health Center visitors. A Red Flag was placed where a cigarette butt was discarded on the ground. Many of the cigarette butts are within 50ft of the building. 300 flags were placed in less than 15 minutes and actually ran out of flags.

Connie Watson and the trail committee have decided to name the trail, Spirit Stone Trail. Spirit Stone is a translation of the name Shingabawassin, who was a local Ojibwe Chief from the Crane Clan. To read more about the naming of the trail, CLICK HERE, for the article in the soo evening news.
